My nine-year-old has not touched the iPad since he got this. He is outside with his friends for hours. The sensor works perfectly and it is far sturdier than I expected. Best thing I have bought this year.
Christmas morning. The paper is gone, the floor is covered, and by lunch most of it is already forgotten. You hand them the FlyHero Pro, they hold out a hand, and thirty seconds later a hero is flying above it. You have watched the cheap ones die on Boxing Day. This one is still in their backpack in February. This is the gift they remember.
Four steps. Nothing to set up.
Take the FlyHero out of the box and plug in the included USB cable.
Hold it over an open palm and press the button. The infrared sensor lifts your hero off on its own.
With your hand, or with the included remote control for more precise moves.
Indoors and outdoors, from a child who asks to do it again.
You know how the cheap ones end: one nose dive, five minutes, the bin. The FlyHero Pro is built for real children, not for a shop demo. The rotors sit inside the frame rather than out in the open, so a knock against the wall, the furniture or the floor is a bounce, not a break. Spare propellers are in the box for the day they find the radiator.
Living room, garden, park, or grandma's kitchen on Boxing Day. It needs two metres of ceiling and a hand underneath, nothing else. That is why it lives in their backpack instead of at the back of the cupboard.

My nine-year-old really has left the iPad alone since he got this. He is out with his friends for hours. It has hit the wall more times than I can count and it still flies.
Spider-Man for my ten-year-old daughter and Batman for my nephew. They played together all Boxing Day. The included remote was the part they argued over.
Sceptical, because I have bought the cheap ones. This is a different thing entirely. The sensor reacts instantly, the rotors have taken plenty of knocks, and it recharges while they have their dinner.
The FlyHero team believes the best childhood memories happen away from a screen, not on one.
The FlyHero Pro was made to be the gift still in use long after the decorations come down. If it is not, write to us and we will give you every penny back.

Families say the FlyHero takes off from your hand first time, with no app and no pairing. Children play with it for hours and grandparents usually end up flying it too. Plenty of people ordered a second one so brothers and sisters did not have to share. Some would still like more characters to choose from.
I bought it for my grandson and ended up ordering a second one for his sister. First present in years that he rang me up to say thank you for.

Thank you, Margherita! Tell him Spider-Man is in good hands. FlyHero Team
No app, no pairing, no instructions to read. Hand underneath, press the button and off it goes. My seven-year-old had worked it out before I had finished reading the box.

Grandad flew it before the boy did. If I am honest, that is half the fun.

The included remote was the thing they argued over. Worth getting two if you have two children.

It takes a beating. It has hit the wall more times than I can count and it still flies like nothing happened.

The ceiling needs to be high enough, but it is fine in our living room. Outdoors it is even better.

My two argue over whose turn it is, and that says it all.

It does what it says. Lifts off your hand by itself and lands by itself. Simple as that.

Lovely. My twelve-year-old thought it was a bit young for him, but the eight-year-old adores it.

Sturdier than it looks. The propellers sit inside the cage, so it bounces instead of breaking.

Thank you so much for sharing that, Dino. It put a smile on the whole team's face. FlyHero Team
Great toy. The flight could last a touch longer, but it recharges so quickly that it does not matter.
